What is RAAM?

The Race Across America is a 3000 mile bicycle race that begins in Oceanside, California and ends in Annapolis, Maryland. Teams will take off at 12 noon on Saturday June 15th from the Oceanside Pier and they have nine days to make it to the City Dock in Annapolis, Maryland. Our four-man relay team will try to cross the country in only 6.5 days! The race will take the team through 12 states with 170,000 vertical feet of climbing. In its 30 year history, RAAM has become one of the most exciting endurance races in the country and an excellent platform for raising money for charities.

While Team R.O.C.K. put up a valient effort, they unfortunately had to pull out of the race due to a team member crashing his bike (nothing to worry about, Jay will be fine). While the result is not what we were hoping for, the real winners are still the children of R.O.C.K. who benefit from the funds raised. Thanks so much for your support!

The Team

Shawn Warthen is a financial adviser from Morgan Hill, California. He is an avid bike rider who expects this challenge to be a whole lot of fun in addition to being a great way to raise money for such a meaningful project.

Ryan Ivers lives in Sausalito, California and has taken part in team endurance competitions for years. He is excited to do some fundraising for such a great cause.

David O'Mara lives in San Francisco and is the regional Vice President with Steadfast Capital Market Group. Taking part in this race lets him combine the two things he loves the most: riding his bike and helping kids.
